Croydon Symphony Orchestra is based in Croydon and dedicated to orchestral excellence. Our players are from all walks of life and we aim to play music to the highest standard at our regular concerts. We were originally formed in 1905 by Croydon based composer Samuel Coleridge Taylor so we have a long and fruitful history in our town! We run a biannual concerto competition for young soloists and provide many performing opportunities for soloists.
